Unfortunately, current freelancing platforms aren’t exactly seller-friendly. Websites like Fiverr and Upwork charge fees and commissions that could be considered borderline exploitative.
It’s not uncommon to see commissions of 20% on some of these large platforms. That can significantly cut into a freelancer’s paycheck. These massive fees can make it incredibly difficult to make ends meet, especially as a new freelancer with lower prices.
